I highly recommend the ministry of Marty Miller and his wife, Jan. The congregation appreciated the variety of music ministry he shared with our congregation as well as his personal testimony of God’s grace in his life. He also was sensitive about the style of music and specific songs the congregation would sing with him in the concert. He is a talented guitarist, keyboard player AND vocalist. Jan did an excellent job as sound engineer. I plan to have Marty back at some future date for another ministry to our congregation.

I pastor a small Nazarene Church in Indiana. We have hosted Marty Miller for concerts on three occasions. He is a skilled musician, singer, composer, and arranger. His songs, presentation, and interaction with the congregation are inspirational, caring, and faithful to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Marty’s musical selections are varied in style and each is delivered not as a performance but as a ministry. Every indication tells me He is dedicated to being the light of God’s love and truth in these difficult times we live in. The Lord has encouraged my heart through Mr. Miller’s music ministry. I have also enjoyed the times spent with him and Jan before and after worship services. I have confidence that Marty Miller will assist the Kingdom of God to go forward in any congregation or event to which he is invited!

Marty Miller has a unique musical ministry. He is very talented and his music comes straight from the heart. He is at ease on stage with a message of hope and love from our loving God! Our congregation has enjoyed his ministry twice and we were not disappointed either time. His music is fresh and God centered without letting the "music" take over the message! We also enjoyed a time of fellowship after the service which was a blessing to us, our congregation, Marty, and his wife, Janet. We highly recommend Marty and Janet as a special concert, additional music for a special event, or an evening of renewal with music! We used him in our worship service in the morning and were blessed. Marty comes highly recommended by my husband, Ray, the pastor of Grace Fellowship EFC and myself, the worship leader. Thank you for considering using Marty in your ministry for worship. Because HE LIVES, Robin Tetrault

Marty was a true minister of the Gospel at our recent dinner concert outreach event and Sunday morning service. People were touched and God’s spirit moved in people’s hearts. I would highly encourage any pastor that is looking for a true professional and more importantly a professional that has a heart for God and His people to invite Marty to come and minister to your community and your church.” (Rev. I was so grateful that Marty was able, without a whole lot advance warning, to be our entertainment during our Pig Roast and Ice Cream Social. He came with his own sound equipment and operator (his wife), which we were able to use for the announcements during the event as well. He was also very gracious about allowing people to continue to socialize while he sang, so that it was more like dinner music than a concert. Yet what he performed was edifying, glorified God, and added fun to the event. He sang a combination of his original music, old-time traditional folk music, and even a little nostalgic music mixed in just for fun. All in all Marty helped make our event a festive family celebration and we are grateful.

Dear Pastor or Church leader, If you are looking for a concert that will encourage and uplift your congregation, or a worship leader that will direct your congregation’s heart toward the Lord in praise and adoration, Marty Miller is your man. I’ve known Marty since high school, and I’ve watched from a distance his journey of faith. It’s not been easy, not without its bumps and bruises. Perhaps that’s why, when Marty sings, you get the sense that he’s not sharing what someone else has experienced; he’s sharing his experience - his heart. He is an accomplished musician, a songwriter and soloist with a real heart for Christ. I’ve asked Marty to share with my congregation twice and I’ll do it again. He was very well received, his heart for the gospel and for God’s people was evident from the platform and from the pew. As a pastor you will understand when I say he has a heart for ministry. He’s not doing it for fame, not for the money, but for the Lord He loves. I recommend him without reservation. In Christ,

Marty Miller was with us for an outdoor concert on Easter weekend. We knew it was going to be a special night, under the tent, on the property, where we will be constructing our new church building. We did not know “how” special it was going to be until God parted the Florida storm clouds right over our heads. Lightning flashed north and south of us but the path over us was cleared. The radar image was an amazing testimony to God’s power over the storms of life. Our people thoroughly enjoyed Marty’s variety of acoustical guitar and vocal music that ranged from the old familiar to original songs. He engaged the audience and they joyfully responded by singing and clapping along with the music. We look forward to another opportunity to enjoy Marty Miller’s ministry.

Hello Marty, I wanted to thank you for coming to Russellville Wesleyan Church on short notice. The church really enjoyed your ministry. My wife, kids and I had a great time with you and your wife at dinner! The time we spent with you, both personally and during the concert, gave us a great sense of your spirit- a real person, walking with the real Christ! Your music was refreshing with a great sense of intimacy. Thank you for sharing yourselves with us. You were both a blessing to us! We hope to see you again, soon. God bless you as you share His love with His world! Serving Him together with you,

I can highly recommend the music ministry of Marty Miller. Marty and his dear wife Jan came and shared in our "Welcome to Summer" Picnic and concert and they were both a blessing to all who were there. Marty worked with us prior to the event to make sure that everything went as planned and was very accommodating to our needs and wishes. The day of the event Marty and Jan came early and interacted with those in attendance ahead of the concert, they ate dinner with us at the picnic and even played games with the kids! His music ministry was great even with the difficulties of an "outside" event he came across well and ministered to everyone there. I sincerely want to thank Marty for his willingness and desire to be a blessing during our outreach event. In His Service,

It is with great joy that I write this reference letter for Marty Miller. Marty has a true heart of ministry that is evident in his desire to know about the people he will be ministering to. His desire is to minister personally, not a pre-determined (cookie cutter) concert/ministry.
Marty and his wife Janet have a true heart for ministry. Marty has a variety of music styles being able to minister to a variety of audiences. The songs he has written have a strong message. He invites the people not only to be ‘entertained’ but invites them to worship with him. Janet is a great compliment to their ministry, with a heart that is tender toward servanthood and people.
We asked Marty to share at an outreach we have to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission in addition to ministering in our Sunday morning service. He immediately committed to the opportunity because of both his and Janet’s heart to reach those who are hurting. Ministering to the least of these is ministering to Jesus!!!
We are looking forward to having them back this summer for our 50th Anniversary Celebration.
Please contact me if you need any further assistance.

Hi Marty, we so enjoyed our time with you and Janet. I thought it was a great evening. I heard nothing but good comments about the concert. The music was a perfect blend of contemporary, inspirational, reflective songs. And the hymns you did had a really nice contemporary sound. I loved your arrangements of “In the Garden” and “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing”. Our older members really appreciated the hymns. All of us who were there received a huge blessing we won’t soon forget. I think those who were there made those who could not make it wish they had been there. Maybe if you come back next year, word of mouth will spread the news that everyone needs to come. I hope you had a good trip back home and that God will continue to bless your ministry. Keep it up. God is truly using you in a mighty way. Take care and God Bless.

Marty Miller presented a wonderful concert for church on Sunday morning, he is very professional as a singer/songwriter and ministers well. I found Marty's presentation to be very refreshing and energizing. I believe his message needs to be heard in our churches today. He looks to the leading of The Lord in his ministry and was very well received by our people as he connected well with them. He has a humble spirit and is willing to be used in any area of need. I would recommend him highly for any type of music ministry in your church.

Last month we received the wonderful blessing of having Marty Miller share his ministry with us at Portage Bible Church. He was responsible for the entire service and he did a wonderful job of sharing both his talents in music and his love for the Lord. He is a gifted musician and songwriter, but more importantly, he is a servant of the Lord whose humble and gracious spirit resonated across all age groups in the church through his testimony, prayers and music ministry. We look forward to Marty’s return visit and ministry to us at PBC.

The Marty Miller Concert that we hosted in July was a great blessing to the church and the visitors that were present. Marty blends different styles of music with songs that minister deeply to the soul with a very clear focus on The Lord. Marty did a great job leading our evening worship service. His calm and clear style allowed him to engage a very diverse audience with music that gives a fresh proclamation of the Gospel and its impact upon our lives. We had invited other churches and the community to this event and had many visitors who all enjoyed it and stayed after for the refreshments we were serving. There was a large amount of energy and enthusiasm about the worship experience after the service and I heard only positive comments about his gifts and ministry.

We thoroughly enjoyed having Marty Miller minister to us in concert. He is an extremely talented and gifted musician, singer, and song writer. During his concert we laughed, we listened and we sang; but primarily we worshipped. With a nice blend of well known classics and contemporary worship songs, as well as some fantastic songs written by Marty himself, our hearts were drawn powerfully to our great Savior and Lord. I would highly recommend Marty and his ministry of music to any church or group that wants to have a concert centered around Jesus Christ. It will certainly be entertaining and enjoyable, but yet much, much more than that. It will be a fun night of celebratory worship!

I totally agree with Marty's logo, “Music that fits ,with a message that last a lifetime”. I do our sound and play saxophone every week at Christ United Methodist Church in Albany, Ga...We really enjoyed having Marty and Janet at our 11:00 service. Their music was good and they engaged the congregation in song by allowing them to sing some favorite praise songs as well as providing great inspirational messages through Marty's songs. They were very easy to work with and were very conscientious about the loudness of their music. Our congregation really appreciated that, and as sound tech, so did I. They asked me on more than one song if sound level was OK. I believe you will enjoy their presence and will be lifted up by their inspirational message through song.

I highly recommend the music ministry of Marty Miller to any pastor or local church for a concert or special time of worship. Marty combines his tremendous talent on the acoustical guitar and on the keyboard with his pleasant vocals to lift up the name of Jesus. He includes his listeners in times of singing worship as well and is very personable and easy to work with. Marty loves the Lord and shares in practical ways how God can be a part of others’ lives. I have had the pleasure of working with Marty Miller on two occasions, a wedding and a senior citizen dinner. Marty was easy to work with, sensitive to the needs of the people in attendance, and provided a wonderful musical program. When we worked together at the wedding I was delighted with Marty’s flexibility and with the incredible music he provided. His instrumental music was superior to any other musician I have worked with, and his singing voice is sublime. I so enjoyed working with him that I booked him for our church’s annual Thanksgiving Dinner for Senior Citizens. Marty provided a perfect 20 minute music program of familiar songs, both secular and sacred, delighting all who had the joy of hearing him. As a pastor, I appreciated Marty’s professionalism, his Christian approach, his kindness, and the beauty of his music. I look forward to working with him again.

We are a small church but we love listening to music. We were so thrilled to invite Marty Miller and his wife to lead our Sunday morning worship service by lifting his wonderful voice to God in song. I was impressed with Marty and his efficiency, professionalism and most of all his flexibility! Marty even led two worship songs that the congregation enjoyed very much. We were all moved by his testimony as well. I heard comments after worship about how the songs he selected and the words he spoke were exactly what some needed to hear that morning. On Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 Marty performed two indoor concerts, each forty-five minutes in length, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Allegan, MI. This was Marty's second time to share his talents with our congregation and it was a real pleasure to have him with us again. His music is inspiring and definitely portrays his love for the Lord God. His songs, whether written by him or another songwriter speaks to the heart of those who hear it. I especially enjoyed some of his newer versions of old hymns that hopefully speak more effectively to today's young people. God has truly given Marty a special talent whereby he worships his Lord in such a special way. I also enjoy his vocal range, as it is very comforting to the soul. We, as a congregation, wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Marty's Music Ministry to any congregation or Christian group. He's every bit as good as some of the more popular Christian singers today.

Dear Partners in Ministry, Marty and Janet Miller were with us this past Sunday for our Annual Praise and Pig Roast and our Church family was richly blessed through their ministry. Marty is a first-rate musician and his heart for the local church shines through in his music and testimony. He encourages Believers who are burdened by the pressures of life on planet earth, challenges those who are stuck in a rut and turns everyone’s attention to worshiping our Creator, Lord and Savior. Marty and Jan make a great team and are the kind of couple all churches would love to clone and have in their Church Family. I encourage you to check out Marty’s ministry and invite him to come and minister to your local church family. Grace & Peace,

Marty’s gift of music blessed not only our church membership but the whole Green Lake community as we worshiped at the local county fair. As a former musician, I am awed by Marty’s musical talent, by his moving musical arrangements of both traditional and contemporary hymns and praise songs. Marty’s original compositions speak to the depth of healing God can bring from our broken human condition. They also speak of the power of praise to lift up our burdened souls. Marty has a natural charisma which draws people in at all levels, whether they just listen, sing along in praise, or even participate with him in shared musical gifts.

If you’re looking for a concert where the music comes from the heart and is delivered in warm, but professional manner, then Marty Miller is a guy you ought to consider. Marty exhibits a wide range of talent and style of music, and is appropriately sensitive to the needs of the congregation gathered before him. As a pastor, I was grateful for his spirit of cooperation, wanting to fit into where we were as a church and presenting a concert filled with inspiration and encouragement. Unless you are looking for hard-rock Christian music, I would commend Marty to you and your worship services. I’m confident he would fit into the venue of a special event as well.

I met Marty over the Internet by way of an intervention from God. I was having a pity party in my office one morning because I was upset from the news of my wife's condition. She had been diagnosed with Breast Cancer at stage 3 and she started Chemo treatments within 3 weeks and then she was going to face surgery. Well the Lord had given me some words for a new song I was working on, and those words were the very same words that came over my E-mail from Marty Miller, that "When The Waters Get High", "You Don't Have To Go At It Alone". I listened to his demo and the Lord used that demo in my life in a very powerful way and I immediately got on the E-mail and got acquainted with Marty. Our church appreciated Marty's ministry among us and we would recommend him to any church. He has a great ability to bring meaning to his songs. You'll be glad you invited him and his wife to minister to you and your church.

It was a privilege and quite refreshing to have Marty Miller minister in concert here at Grace Bible Church. Marty brings a relaxed, unpretentious style, combined with musical skill and expertise in vocals, keyboard, and acoustic guitar, to deliver a ministry that gently comes alongside people to both encourage and challenge them to faithfully walk with Christ. Marty has a unique way of making the traditional songs fresh and his original songs relevant and personal. Marty and his wife Janet were a blessing to our church and to the people attending the concert.

Marty Miller has ministered at our church with his music. We found that he has a variety of sounds, and that his music is varied and refreshing. He led us in worship. It was not a performance; it was worship as he mixed solos with congregational choruses. His music and his words all aided and enhanced the worship atmosphere. We enjoyed Marty Miller and his music very much.

Marty Miller offers music with a message for all ages. Marty tailors his music to his audience, appealing to people of all ages and musical tastes, giving insight, especially into the songs that he has written. Marty has a genuine, heartfelt message of his faith in Jesus, as he shares the personal joys and struggles of his daily life, relating to all people along the spectrum of faith, from those who do not know Jesus as Savior and Lord to those who have a very strong, daily walk with Christ.

I would like to recommend the music ministry of Marty Miller. He has an excellent voice; combines familiar songs with those he has written, as well as involving congregational worship singing. He plays an acoustic guitar and uses his keyboard to provide background music for his songs. He was well received by our people which was evident by the love offering and CD's purchased.

I found Marty and Janet wonderful to work with. Marty was open to my wishes concerning the concert and sensitive to the people in attendance. All of the feedback I received from those present was positive and Marty would be welcome to come back again in the future.

We were blessed to have Marty Miller at our church for a Sunday morning service and Sunday evening concert. What a blessing! Marty is extremely gifted as singer and songwriter, and has a heart of gold. His combination of grace, talent, and humility are a rare find in today’s entertainment-driven worship culture. In the morning service, he led us before the throne of the Lord and prepared our hearts for the preaching of God’s Word. In the evening concert, he touched our heart with his messages in song. I highly recommend having Marty Miller at your church or ministry. He is a great servant of the Lord!

Thanks again Marty and Jan! Your ministry in music to us was great! Your words of testimony in between songs were also very inspiring to the believers here in many ways. You have motivated us to reach out more to the lost who are all around us on a daily basis. I especially liked your “Missionary Man” song and the song about the Word of God. We appreciated the variety and uniqueness of your plethora of songs. The fact that you have written and composed most of the songs you sing, contributes to your unique style. Each song came alive as we realized you wrote them from your own life experiences. You and Jan have a quiet, but powerful impact through your ministry together, and we highly recommend you to minister in many other churches. Your music style would be acceptable and welcome in most all Christian churches of different types, yet your lyrics are really grounded well in the Word of God and have depth. God is surely using you as a significant part of His kingdom plan!

I highly recommend that you have Marty Miller come a do a concert at your church. Everyone will really enjoy it. Marty has a gentle and easy way about him, making you feel comfortable as he shares his faith and "down home" encouragement through his wonderful original melodies and lyrics. His wife Janet sure is a sweetheart, too, and plays an important part in Marty's ministry, helping him sound so good. I admire them both in what they are doing for their Lord.

Marty, Thanks so much for being part of our Fall Evangelism Concert. Your music was awesome but what made it even better was that it came from your heart. We were definitely inspired by your performance. We are sorry we didn't have much of a chance to show you some WI hospitality but maybe next time (?) you will be with us a little longer, (at least long enough for us to feed you lunch!!!). As I told you Sunday, we have had some pretty well-credentialed performers in our nine years of doing these concerts but none were more effective than you in reaching out to our audience. Well done, faithful servant.

What a joy to share ministry with you Marty. Thank you for leading worship this past Palm Sunday. Your music presented the gospel message as revealed in the entirety of Holy Week. I give thanks for your servant's heart. The integrity of your love for Christ is evident in the way you offer music as worship.
Marty, I appreciate how easy it was to work with you in putting all the details together. You have been blessed with musical skills and vocals that draw people closer to Christ. Marty, it is also obvious that you love people and quickly establish a wonderful rapport which builds a sense of unity in Christ. I give thanks to God for you.

Dear Marty and Janet, What a wonderful evening we had with you in the glory of God's creation lifting our voices in praise under the leadership of your music. Our time together simply flew by and came to an end far too soon. Before you had finished packing up, folks were asking me if and when the two of you could return. Thank you for your witness, testimony, the parts of your life story you shared with us, and above all, your music bringing us into the presence of God. May you be blessed in your ministry as you continue to be a blessing to others. I look forward to our next time together.

We have had Marty Miller in concert 2 times in the past and each time have sensed the presence of The Lord in his music and ministry. The blend of original selections with contemporary praise and worship songs is beautiful. My spirit was renewed with a sense of peace and hope during this latest service.

Marty Miller and his wife Janet were a blessing to the members of Bible Baptist Church and the community of Rantoul. They demonstrated a real servant’s heart and willingness to serve in whatever way they were asked. Being that our event was an outdoor event the setting was less than ideal. They contended with train whistles and a caravan of Harleys with humor and patience. From the first contact to the actual event, they demonstrated a genuine desire to minister using their musical gifts to lead those present in worship of God. Many who were present both from our church and some from the community were very appreciative of Marty and Jan’s musical ability and spirit, (Marty sings and Janet runs their sound system). As a small church with limited resources we were grateful for their willingness to come as well as their willingness to make their ministry affordable.

I just wanted to take the time to write you and thank you for your ministry and serving us two Sundays ago. You were a great addition to our service and we got a lot of good feedback. Those who were there also said they enjoyed your concert. We all were incredibly blessed to have you and your wife with us. My hope is that you will keep doing what you do and that the Lord blesses you and uses you mightily for His work. We are considering having you back again so please keep us updated on your ministry. Thank you again for your dedication to worship and for ministering to us. You both were truly a blessing. Your brother in Christ, Ryan

Marty Miller is a humble man of God. He lives by faith and leads with his heart. Marty is professional and personal. His music comforts the troubled and challenges the complacent. During our Sunday morning worship, Marty honored tradition and modern styles of music. He is much more than a performer. His use of personal experiences and humor draws people into the message of God’s grace.

The concert that Marty held was well received and attended. The music was uplifting and reflected on the Deity of Jesus Christ. It was good to note that it wasn’t a “canned” presentation, but that it was generated from a heart of obedience to God. Also it was noteworthy for those of us who pastor small churches that he came for a love offering. I wish him and his wife every success.

Marty Miller is the consummate story teller through music that speaks from his heart and soul. Marty has a gift for sharing the stories of grace and love in a way that makes you want to thank God and sing along. We had a small coffee house venue for our concert and Marty was able to communicate his witness to each of us as if we were the only two people in the room. What a treat! We loved the ability to join him on a few songs we knew as well as learning a few new ones. Marty comes across in a very relaxed and approachable manner that is conducive to any size venue. He is a master at his craft!! Talk about using your spiritual gifts… God is good!!

We had the privilege of having Marty Miller in concert at the Crystal Congregational Church on May 22, 2016 for our morning worship service. The people of the church really enjoyed his worship music and the blend of music he provided. His love of the Lord was very evident in song and testimony. The quality of the sound was amazing and everything was very professionally done. We can't wait to have him return for our worship.
